Approved Courses

Click on one of the links to the left to learn about Certification Board Approved Courses and additional educational tools. The Recently Approved Courses contains a search tool for easier access to course listings, while the Approved Providers list contains names, phone numbers, email and web addresses, of associated educators.

All CADC's and LCADC's will have until July 31, 2008 to complete the mandatory Renewal course in the New Jersey statute and regulations governing the practice of alcohol and drug counselors. This Renewal course is required for all CADC's and LCADC's, but not to be confused with C501 or C502, which are required for initial certification/license. Starting July 1, 2007, the following document explains the new Approved Providers Standards and the New Instructor Requirements. The full document can be found here
