2008 Test Dates

IMPORTANT: YOU MAY NOT REGISTER FOR THE AODA (LCADC/CADC) EXAM UNTIL THE LICENSING COMMITTEE AT THE DIVISION OF CONSUMER AFFAIRS SENDS THE CERTIFICATION BOARD AN APPROVAL TO DO SO

If you have been cleared to do so, fill out this form and mail it in by the deadline to the Certification Board office. If not, contact DCA for information on how to become eligible.

For your convenience, the Certification Board will list the names of those who have registered and are scheduled to take the written exam. The dates below show when the postings will take place. Click on the “Posting Names” date for the current list..

You do not need to register with the DCA for the following exams:

  • CCS
  • CODS

The LARGE book - Getting Ready to Test: A Reviw/Prepartation Manual for Drug and Alcohol Credentialing Exams. At 706 pages it contains a practice test, test strategies and what to expect on the oral exam.
Can be purchased for $149 plus $10 shipping and handling.

The Written Exam book – Getting Ready to Test: The Written Examination. Packed into the 82 pages is a 100 item practice exam, strategies and multiple-choice test taking tips.
Cost is $49 plus $6 shipping and handling.

Oral Exam – Getting Ready to Test: The Oral Examination. 88 pages discusses how to choose an effective case presentation and how to write it up. Using this manual helps eliminate the surprises usually associated with the oral exam.
$49 plus $6 shipping and handling.
