Primary focus is to work with juvenile offenders(drug users/dealers/gang members)who are on parole or probation and in Genesis’ Comprehensive Adjustment Program (CAP) under the States “High—Risk Youth Offender & Family Strengthening Initiative.” As a CAP counselor I provided care and treatment for these juveniles to ensure that they are mentally, emotionally, and socially rehabilitated. Strengthen the family’s capacity for reunification and enhance communication and understanding among their family members, and help to prevent family and individual crises. |
