CCJP Upgrade 

 

Grandfather Applications accepted until March 1, 2009.   
 
As reported in last months's newsletter.CJC's can upgrade(test exempt) to the IC&RC reciprocal Certified Criminal Justice Professional during the next 90 days (12/1/08 to 3/1/09). Both the grandfathering and standard applications , as well as the CJC application, can be downloaded by clicking  here

 CODP coming!

The Certification Board, working with the Division of Mental Health Services, developed one of the first, if not the first, Dual Diagnosis credential in the country over ten years ago. We are very pleased that the IC&RC is now offering a nationally reciprocal Co-Occurring Dependence  Professional (CODP- Diplomate) credential based on a national job task analysis.

 

This important certification, will recognize The Board's past work in this area by Grandfathering all active CODS(Co-Occurring Dependency Specialists) during a 90 day Grandfathering period starting March 1, 2009 through May 30, 2009. During this same period, Co-Occurring Dependency Associates will be eligible for an upgrade to the CODP-Associate ( non- Diplomate).

 

The Grandfathering period will not require a written exam for those actively certified, but all other IC&RC standards must be met.
